Introduction:
The Mixed Chix Society was originally founded by Leova Stockenberger in September 2006 with the idea of establishing an online marketing website. With her daughter, Nicole as her inspiration and her late mother, Lorenza Molina, as her mentor, she dedicates this venture to them.
Leova Stockenberger :
The idea of starting Mixed Chix Society came as a brainstorm in 2003 while Leova lived overseas and was planning her return to America. She had been away for 14 years, had lost her network professional group in the business world and was not certain how the job market would greet her on her return. With her children grown up, she found that she would have free time to pursue other ventures. In part, due to the current security situation around the world and also because of her interest to give back to the community she thought that the best thing to do was to use the internet to market a venture. The idea of working for herself sounded more appealing and less threatening then working for someone else, so she contacted several family and friends with the same vision, enthusiasm and dreams of financial independence and total freedom to make this a reality.
Jo Chevalier :
A native of Louisiana and the youngest of 9 children, I grew up on a farm in a small town in Arnaudville, Louisiana where I followed the advice of my parents, Nathan and Stephanie Chevalier to work hard, get an education and be self sufficient in my pursuit of life. Upon graduating from Carver High school, I moved to Houston where I received a Bachelors degree in social work from Texas Southern University. After working for 10 years as a corporate executive, I returned to school to obtain a Masters Degree in Public Administration from Texas Southern University.
At present, I am a Licensed Social Worker in the state of Texas. I have over 18 years of experience as a Social Worker working for a special needs adoption agency. Duties include the facilitating of all stages in the adoption and foster care process for abused and neglected children.
Presently, a partner of The MIXED CHIX SOCIETY, I share the same goals and mission statement as the founder Leova Stockenberger, which is to empower all women from all walks of life, fun and fulfillment. It is my goal to teach, learn and get inspiration from each woman that I meet so that we can be free to become stronger and more independent individuals and prosper in a global society.
Norma Estrada :
Norma has lived in Houston most of her life, but also lived in Mexico as a child for 7 years. Her humble upbringing in Mexico helped her value and appreciate her life now. She is a proud mother of 3 beautiful young ladies who inspire her every day.
Norma is a partner of Estradatize Cleaning & Restoration, a water and fire mitigation company. She was active in this industry for 17 years and became a Master Cleaning Restorer. There are only a handful of women who get this title in the country. She handled marketing, sales and office operations.
Her passion is to work and help people. She is definitely a people person and never meets a stranger. Norma also loves to travel so she decided to become involved in International Real Estate. She works in the Houston area and currently works with developers in the Mexican Caribbean also knows as Riviera Maya. Her most recent entrepreneur venture is working with her daughter in the anti-aging market. Their company offers products and technologies for anti-aging from the inside out. If she is not helping her clients buy or sell a home, she is helping them look radiant and healthy.
Norma also shares the same goals and mission as Leova and Jo so she is honored to be part of their MXCX Society. Norma handles marketing for the group and invites you to join us and be inspired.
